Minifigure Spotlight - Series 12 - The Jester

I finally found a couple Series 12 packs that weren't torn open.  I wasn't sure if Lego was going to count the Movie and Simpson series' in the numbered and now we know they didn't.  My first Series 12 - The Jester or Joker, I'm not quite sure. Nice to get one of the rarer figures right out of the gate. 

He's got cool jester's hat and two playing cards.  Not sure why.

Minifigure Spotlight - Series 5 Primatologist

With Series 12 out, but no where to be found around me yet lets looks back a ways to Series 5 and the Primatologist or monkey girl.

She comes with a great little monkey and a banana.  Gotta love the zoo theme.

Mega Bloks SpongeBob Squarepants Series 1 Blind Pack

 Oh how the worm turns!  You may remember back a few years ago when Lego held the SpongeBob license. Now Mega Bloks is putting out SpongeBob sets.  I couldn't resist picking up a blind pack.

Here is the insert poster.  With a super secret rare figure possible.  I looked it up it's SpongeBob in his underwear with a pineapple.

 Well it' looks like I pulled a rare Karatay SpongeBob. Yeah I had to look it up. I'm not a big SpongeBob fan so it's a little foreign to me.

 The figure comes with 11 pieces.  While I'm not always thrilled with MegaBlok's sets, their microfigures always impress me.  The figure has great detailing and movable arms.

Minifigure Spotlight - Series 5 Graduate

Been slow here at the Minifigure Collector and life has been hectic, but we'll have to see if I can get little more posting in now that my work load has settled down a bit.  And what better way to celebrate the upcoming release of Series 12 than a throw back spotlight to Series 5.

Here we have the Graduate.  I think I pick this up from a trade a while back.  Always nice to fill in some holes in the collection

He comes is the mortar board had and a unique graduation gown.

And a very detailed Graduation certificate.

Minifigure Spotlight - Simpsons Series - Milhouse

I finally found some Simpson minifigures the other day.  The big news was that these cost a buck more than the last series. We'll have to see if the price goes back down when Series 12 comes out later this year.

Anyways I only grabbed one pack so I wasn't worried about who I got and didn't feel up any of the packs.

I probably should have since Milhouse was pretty low on the list.  I will most likely pick up the rest of the series if I can find it later.  

I will say the head is very well done and from what I've seen the rest of the series is just as good.

Milhouse comes with a Biclops comic book, and if you remember almost destroyed the comic book store with his huge order.
