Kre-O CityVille Invasion Kreon figure 2 packs.

Ok I'm a sucker sometimes for these random blind packs.  I've been meaning to pick a couple packs up of Kre-O's new Transformer blind packs, but instead I found these.  I've never played Cityville so I'm not sure what the premise is for the characters here other than it looks like you have normal guys and monsters.

You also get two figures per pack so that was a double bonus.  Only I didn't really look too hard at the figures themselves until I opened them up.  Ummm well there a little small.
Here we have the Mini Kreon next to a full size Lego minifigure for comparison.

And while the bodies are really small the head and accessories will work on full size minifigures.  Here we have Steve Timber.

He's pitted against Willy Werewolf.
Hazmat Henry vs....
Toxic Zombie.  You also get one Kre-O block and one of these  motion blocks that I guess work with Cityville Invasion play sets.  I don't know how they work, I guess magic.
Next we have Walter Wetsuit.  His goggles move up and down.
and he fights the Wavecrawler.

Kre-O Transformers Collection 3 Micro Changers blind pack.

Way back in October I featured the Kre-O Transformers Preview Series. At the same time I also picked up this Collection 3 blind pack. Yep I've been sitting on this a while now.

This set features another 12 Micro Changers to collect.

Again one of the things I like about these Micro's is the unique inserts that go with each toy. I pulled Long Haul, which is suppose to "transform" into a dumptruck.  Of course Kre-O makes sure you know that these don't really transform, but you have to build either the robot or the vehicle.

And once again the robot is very well done. The actual figure is pretty good looking.

However the vehicle looks to be secondary and almost an afterthought in the design.

I also don't like that not all the parts are used for both builds so that means when you are displaying the robot form you have 4 or so pieces left over to store or lose.

Kre-O Transformers Perview Series blind packs.

Kre-O is one of those building sets that I have a hard time getting into. I had no desire to pick up any of the Battleship themed sets and the bigger Transformer sets are just so pricey. So I was walking aroudn TRU and found a couple left over Preview Series Micro-Changer blind packs I figured I'd try them out. Especially since I don't have any Kreons in my mini collection.  I was also pleased to see that they are putting out blind packs to go with there new GI Joe and Star Trek sets.  Sadly I got the same figure from both packs so if anyone wants to trade for the other Crankstart let me know. I've opened the pack but not the sealed parts bag.

So lets talk about what I like and dislike about these guys.

I like that each figure comes with it's own insert.  And the Robot version is pretty cool.

Here's a look at Crankstart without his chest piece on to show the detail on the body.

What I don't like is that each version doesn't use all the pieces so the when the figure is in robot mode there are extra pieces lying around waiting to get lost. I also don't like how cheap the vehicle mode is. It's almost like it's an afterthought and not really well thought out.  It's clunky and really not all the esthetically pleasing.

Over all it's a great little figure that will more than likely stay in robot mode.
