I've decided to try and work my way backwards and work out a rarity guide for all the Lego Minifigures by looking at box break downs. I've never opened a full box of minifigures so these are taken from others who have. Like always the terms used are only for measuring the frequency of minfigures per box.
Common = 6 per box
Uncommon = 4 per box
Rare = 2 per box
Series 10 also features a Super Ultra rare minifigure - Mr. Gold.
1. Librarian - Rare
2. Medusa - Rare
3. Roman Commander - Common
4. Warrior Woman - Uncommon
5. Tomahawk Warrior - Uncommon
6. Skydiver - Common
7. Bumblebee Girl - Rare
8. Grandpa - Rare
9. Paintballer - Uncommon
10. Sea Captain - Rare
11. Sad Clown - Uncommon
12. Revolutionary Soldier - Uncommon
13. Baseball Fielder - Common
14. Trendsetter - Rare
15. Painter - Uncommon

Minifigure Spotlight - Series 10 - Bumblebee Girl
I'm never really got the minifigure costumes. I mean there's the Dinoguy, Chickensuit guy, Bunnysuit guy, and maybe I'll even count the Gorilla in Series 3. But who am I to complain. I still love the diversity that Lego puts into each Series and in Series 10 we get Bumblebee Girl.
She comes with a pot of honey and a antenna hat. Probably not my favorite of the series, but a fun one none the less. And yes she's easy to find too with the pot, wings and antenna topper.

Minifigure Spotlight - Series 10 Revolutionary Soldier
I'm down to needing just two more mini's to complete the series. Another great historical mini in this series is this guy, the Revolutionary War soldier. Another figure that's pretty easy to find as the musket is pretty easy to feel in packaging.
Some very nice detailing on the body and he even comes with a ponytailed white wig.

Minifigure Spotlight - Series 10!! Medusa
I can't believe we actually have Series 10 up here in Alaska! Not only that my wife found some blind packs almost right after release and surprised me with 6 packs. I'm now only 2 way from the complete set, which will be my first complete series yet, although I am close to a couple more too.
Anyways out of all the Series 10 figures I think my favorite from just looking at the sell sheet was the Meduse one. I love the monster minifigures.
Looking at a couple case breaks this Medusa figure falls into the rare category falling only about 2 per display box (case), but with her unique base piece she's probably the easiest to find.
This minifigure also has two faces to chose from. The angry face above and this one...
Over all I think this is still my favorite minifigure of the series and maybe my favorite from the last few series'. I just love that snake hair.

Lego Minifigures Series 10.
Seems like I just started finding Series 9 up here in Alaska and Series 10 is already hitting the market. I was down in the lower 48 and got to visit my first Lego store. All the clerks there were as enthusiastic about Lego as the customers and they have no problem helping you find the missing mini's you need out of the blind packs. I also picked up some new Lone Ranger sets which I'll feature later. I did manage to pick up 3 new Series 9 mini's while I was there and was talking to one of the Legoteers about the new Series 10 that was due to be out in the next couple weeks. I had already heard about the super rare gold mini's inserted this round, but I had yet to see the line up for this new Series. So here it is if you haven't seen it yet either.
Here's the mini poster with all 16 of the base figures. And after looking at a couple case breaks I've added the commons (6 per case), uncommons (4 or so per case), and the rarer (2 or less per case) for you too. Although each case can be different.

Plus the bonus ---- Mr. Gold
After a quick search at least one Mr. Gold has been found! I think it would be kind of neat if they were serial numbered on the back. Mr. Gold does come with a serial numbered certificate of authenticity and checking some ebay auctions figures are going for about $700 buck or more! Crazy.
Another nice selection. I think my favorite out of the set is the Medusa and while rare, at about 2 per case, should be easy to find as she's the only one with a lower block base and the weird snake tail.
Also and I'm sure a lot of people already know that if you go to the Lego Minifigure website you can set up an account and keep track of the minifigures you have Check it out here.
